Project 8...PREVIEW

<NOTE: This project is not yet the actual thing! It is still being under construction.>
Just wanted everyone to get a taste of what's coming up in the next project. It'll definitely be longer and have additional stuff thrown in.

Project 7: Dorian Jam

Basically part 2 of the chord lesson, only in Dorian (bass-line playing C throughout while everything plays 2 semitones down, or Bb to be exact). It was really interesting coming up the Sytrus synths once more, coming up with amazing instruments. I presume these different sounds will come handy for the upcoming lesson. The bass does drops down a semi-note mid-way through the song and also as the last note in the end, having this somewhat of an interesting sound.
I guess the flaws I had in this was probably how the other instruments get silenced a little as they each came on, especially when the "uplifting" synths kick in (as you can tell it drowns out the bass for a brief moment as it plays). I also probably could have turned the bass synth down more. Maybe even made the song longer as well.
But hey, it was interesting making this tune up, especially in the mid-section where guitars kicked in. The clean sounding one was actually an FL Slayer Slap Bass I think, only played higher. I then cut up the part I had down for the clean sounding "guitar" and put it in at separate times, making it sound awesome.

That pretty much sums it up, so comment you can...or want to...
