Project 4: The Ray Charles Riff

This one was fairly simple, yet it took me quite some time to work on it. The riff may sound familiar to you cause it's famously heard from Ray Charles "What'd I Say" and The Doors' "Break On Through (To the Other Side)"; it's one of my favorite riffs of all time. I mainly used the reverb most of the time on the guitar and I believe the synth as well, but I turned off the drive (whatever it's called) for that one little section of the song. The volume controls were fun to handle for me.

That's about it. This is another longer song created, and I think as I progress more, it will probably be even longer.
Comments would be lovely!

  1. Great job! I especially like the drum fills (the roll is great) The breakdown at :5 is wonderful too, and I like the sweeping electric guitar that comes in after it as well.
