Project 9: Phrygian Tune

Final project of the semester! After this semester ends, I'll be making up me own stuff outside of class. Thanks for the wonderful support, Mr. Rabuse! :D

Any this project is basically is in Phrygian tuning, where the bass continually plays the C note while everything else plays in Ab...basically. It was an entertaining piece indeed.
The drums are FPC of course, but instead of using one single, seperate loop, I combined two different loops together to make that awesome noise.
Yes, the PoiZone was used plenty of times in this piece. I certainly ejoyed using the delay sound, making the synth echo throughout the song.
The synth that went along with the guitar solo in the middle is actually the guitar solo in reverse. It had some weird result, but somehow it worked out.

That's basically it! More music will be posted in the future (maybe not as fast or slow, but somewhere in between), and hopefully everyone will enjoy them!

Till next time!

  1. Excellent work William. I'm glad you included that bit in your post about reversing some of the parts because sometimes this technique creates surprising results.
Best of luck in the future with your musical endeavors. Come back to Music Tech class anytime, you are always welcome.
